About Dwarf White
Dwarf White isopods (Trichorhina tomentosa) are tiny, blind and almost all female, so every one can breed. They love warmth and humidity, which makes them the go-to cleanup crew for dart frog, gecko and tropical vivariums.
Dwarf White care guide
- Keep the substrate evenly moist, never soggy.
- Mix in leaf litter and rotting wood; they live mostly underground.
- Feed lightly. In a vivarium they will eat waste and mould on their own.
- Their small size means they are safe with almost any reptile or frog.
